Enhanced descriptions from Syndetics:

Soon to be a Netflix Original series!

The New York Times and USA Today bestelling series, with over two million copies in print!

"Terrifyingly fun! Delivers big thrills and even bigger laughs."--Jeff Kinney, author of the #1 New York Times bestseller Diary of a Wimpy Kid

The zombies are disappearing. This might seem like a good thing, since zombies eat your brains, but normal human kid Jack Sullivan is suspicious. He keeps hearing an eerie shrieking noise that seems to be almost summoning the zombies--but to where, and for what (probably) foul purpose?

Jack, his three best friends (maybe the only people left on Earth), and their pet monster Rover need to get to the bottom of this. Along the way they encounter a lot more than they bargained for, including a giant Wormungulous, a pizza parlor monster hangout, an ancient evil who destroys worlds, and a stereo system that is totally the bomb. Can Jack figure out why the zombies are vanishing . . . before he and his friends are next?

<opt> <anon I1="BLANK" I2="BLANK">This is my moment. The moment of Jack Sullivan, Post-Apocalyptic Action Hero. The Wormungulous will be upon us in seconds. Its massive form is barreling forward, turning everything in its path to dust. And I can't let my friends fall into the category of "dust." That's my biggest fear. That's what keeps me up at night (well, that and thoughts of Selena Gomez--I hope she's safe somewhere!). I step toward the beast like some sort of samurai ninja Jedi. "Jack, what are you doing?" June screams. "June, Dirk, Quint. Get back," I say. "Behind me." "I'll try to open the gate into Sears," Dirk says. "If you can slow it down, maybe we won't all die today." Horn Book Review

In this entertaining fourth Last Kids on Earth book, Jack plans a makeshift Christmas celebration to cheer up his snowbound friends (and fellow monster-apocalypse survivors). But then a new human villainess kidnaps Jack's friend Dirk for a ritual sacrifice, and Jack and company must prevent her from summoning an evil extra-dimensional entity. Dynamic comic bookstyle illustrations featured throughout once again support the story's well-rounded characters, humor, and action. (c) Copyright 2019.
