Enhanced descriptions from Syndetics:

Strange and spooky things are happening down on the farm, and Farmer Greg knows exactly who to call -- Ghost-hunters! A specialist team of three little ghost-hunting pigs equipped with the latest gadgets seem to be the perfect guys for the job. There's certainly something suspicious about the mysterious chicken coop up on the hill, but when the Phantom Finder 5000 fails to recognize any paranormal activity, the pigs realize that perhaps all is not quite as it seems.

When spooky things begin to happen on his farm, Farmer Greg contacts a team of ghost-hunting pigs, who discover there's something suspicious about the chicken coop up on the hill, but the pigs soon realize that perhaps all is not quite as it seems.

Horn Book Review

Upon returning from a sleepwalking episode, Greg finds his farm overrun by zombie ducks, ghost cows, and other terrors. Whos he gonna call? Three Pigs Ghost-Hunters! This trio eventually uncovers what fearless readers may have deduced from Dolans cheerfully chaotic mixed-media illustrations: the spooks are really farm animals in disguise. Its an elaborate plot directed by Mother Hen from an underground command center/fear factory and designed to scare off a beast that came last night when the moon was full and Greg was gone! The art is packed with speech balloons, slapstick humor, and visual cues advancing the goofy story. Elementary-age readers will howl at the silly twists, turns, and transformations. kitty flynn (c) Copyright 2016. The Horn Book, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Media Source, Inc.
