Horn Book Review

After rapping raptor Rappy is abducted by a UFO, his annoying "raps" secure his freedom (an alien: "Let's send back this dinosaur. / I can't take it anymore!"). Some rhymes don't scan very well, but Gutman keeps the groan-inducing jokes coming ("This was worse than diarrhea! / But then I got a great idea!"). Bowers illustrates a cast exhibiting Saturday morning cartoonlike witlessness. (c) Copyright 2019. The Horn Book, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Media Source, Inc. No redistribution permitted.
