Library Journal Review

After reading and following the plan outlined in nutritionist Rose's The Raw Food Detox Diet, chef Choi discovered she was no longer willing to eat the food she served to clients. In the wake of this realization, she dissolved her catering company and teamed up with Rose to start a detox food delivery service. Their new cookbook contains a balance of raw and cooked dishes that will appeal to serious detox dieters and curious home cooks who'd like light, healthful meal ideas. VERDICT Rose and Choi present compelling arguments for lifestyle changes. To get the most out of this title, readers will need a centrifugal juicer, a spiral slicer, a dehydrator, and a willingness to try new preparations. (c) Copyright 2013.
